Rahu in the 7th House in Vedic Astrology
Rahu signifies worldly ambition, the foreign and the unconventional. The 7th house, Yuvati bhāva, governs the spouse, partnerships, trade and travel. Below is what the classical texts say when Rahu stands there, verse by verse, before the Shubham Method's modern reading.

Questions
What does Rahu in the 7th house mean in Vedic astrology?
Rahu signifies worldly ambition, the foreign and the unconventional; the 7th house (Yuvati) governs the spouse, partnerships, trade and travel. Attachment to a partner of low standing (the text's social categories).
Is Rahu in the 7th house good or bad?
Neither on its own. The texts change the result with the planet's dignity (exalted, own sign, debilitated), the planets joined with it or aspecting it, and the strength of the house lord; the conditional lines above show how. The result then ripens in the planet's own period (daśā).
How do I know which house Rahu is in?
You need your birth date, time and place. The free Vedastro calculator computes the sidereal (Lahiri) chart and shows the house of every planet.
