Questions
What does Venus in the 11th house mean in Vedic astrology?
Venus signifies the spouse, love, pleasures, the arts and vehicles; the 11th house (Lābha) governs gains, income, elder siblings and wishes fulfilled. Learned, very wealthy, gains land and is kind.
Is Venus in the 11th house good or bad?
Neither on its own. The texts change the result with the planet's dignity (exalted, own sign, debilitated), the planets joined with it or aspecting it, and the strength of the house lord; the conditional lines above show how. The result then ripens in the planet's own period (daśā).
How do I know which house Venus is in?
You need your birth date, time and place. The free Vedastro calculator computes the sidereal (Lahiri) chart and shows the house of every planet.
