Saturn in the 11th House in Vedic Astrology
Saturn signifies endurance, hardship, servants, discipline and old age. The 11th house, Lābha bhāva, governs gains, income, elder siblings and wishes fulfilled. Below is what the classical texts say when Saturn stands there, verse by verse, before the Shubham Method's modern reading.

Questions
What does Saturn in the 11th house mean in Vedic astrology?
Saturn signifies endurance, hardship, servants, discipline and old age; the 11th house (Lābha) governs gains, income, elder siblings and wishes fulfilled. Very wealthy, gains land, honours authorities, great fortune and vehicles, though he meets obstacles.
Is Saturn in the 11th house good or bad?
Neither on its own. The texts change the result with the planet's dignity (exalted, own sign, debilitated), the planets joined with it or aspecting it, and the strength of the house lord; the conditional lines above show how. The result then ripens in the planet's own period (daśā).
How do I know which house Saturn is in?
You need your birth date, time and place. The free Vedastro calculator computes the sidereal (Lahiri) chart and shows the house of every planet.
