Questions
What does Saturn in the 2nd house mean in Vedic astrology?
Saturn signifies endurance, hardship, servants, discipline and old age; the 2nd house (Dhana) governs wealth, family, speech and food. Lack of money and two marriages.
Is Saturn in the 2nd house good or bad?
Neither on its own. The texts change the result with the planet's dignity (exalted, own sign, debilitated), the planets joined with it or aspecting it, and the strength of the house lord; the conditional lines above show how. The result then ripens in the planet's own period (daśā).
How do I know which house Saturn is in?
You need your birth date, time and place. The free Vedastro calculator computes the sidereal (Lahiri) chart and shows the house of every planet.
